FMPI MET WITH LOMBARDY REGIONAL COUNCILLOR STEFANO BOLOGNINI
An important meeting with Lombardy’s Regional Councillor for Metropolitan City Development, Youth and Communication, Stefano Bolognini, was held at FMPI’s central and wonderful Milan headquarters.
Present at the meeting were FMPI Milan president Carla Grassi, Nicola Zarrella head of the microenterprise sector in Milan on behalf of FMPI, Antonio Iodice, regional secretary and assistant national president of FMPI, and Nicola Di Iorio, national vice president of FMPI.
Many topics were addressed in a spirit of cooperation in the interest of the Lombard business system firmly associated with FMPI.
Vice President Nicola Di Iorio, in unison with the Lombard representatives of FMPI, not only wanted to present the Federation in its regional articulations to the Councillor, bringing greetings from National President Antonina Terranova and Director General Salvatore Ronghi, but also wanted to ensure the Federation’s proximity to the growth objectives that the Lombardy region, the true roaring and driving engine of the national economy (suffice it to say that between January and March 2022 Lombardy achieved 38.4 billion euros in exports, touching a new record of +23.6 percent compared to the corresponding period in 2021, and contributing alone 6.2 percentage points to the national trend performance), intends to pursue.
New forms of active labor policies, work incentives, protection of the small business system, work orientation of the new generations, revisiting the InformaGiovani system, models of collaboration with businesses for training closer to the world of work such as the Istituti Tecnici Superiori (ITS), also in its new version of Accademy, were the topics addressed on which not only a dialectical confrontation with the Lombardy Region will be opened but, above all, it will be possible to imagine opening a confrontation on an increasingly wide range of issues, given the importance that FMPI is assuming in the Lombard and national context.
Councillor Bolognini in complimenting the visit to a truly functioning headquarters with the positive addition of the presence of a garden in the center of Milan that looks like something out of a history book thanked for the invitation and appreciated the presence of the Federation’s national leadership stating that they are “open to any of your support and proposals, especially in those fields where there is a need for companies to acquire new professional skills or upgrade older professional skills. Let me also compliment your ability to be present in Lombardy with the hope that this meeting can be a harbinger of increasingly positive developments for the economy and for the youth of Lombardy as well as for your associates…we will have time and ways to collaborate.”.
The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to seek each other out…to collaborate and help the growth of Lombard society.
