RONGHI (FMPI): ENTERPRISES, FOCUS ON NEW INDUSTRIAL PLAN THAT PUTS SMALL BUSINESSES AT THE CENTER. THE MEETING IN MONZA WITH FMPI STRUCTURES IN LOMBARDY
“Italy must return to having a National Industrial Plan that focuses on the enhancement of manufacturing excellence from North to South and that puts small and medium-sized enterprises at the center, the true productive backbone of Italy and a true and valuable driver for Italy’s quality employment development: this is the challenge we launch from Lombardy to the new government that will emerge from the September 25 elections.”
This was stated by the Director General of the Federation of Medium and Small Enterprises, Salvatore Ronghi, who met this morning in Monza with the Federation’s ruling class from Milan, Bergamo, Varese and Como and a representation of entrepreneurs and professionals from the Lombard territory.
At the meeting, numerous proposals emerged to support and boost the business world, in particular, that “to focus on structural reforms, starting with tax reform, to drastically reduce the tax burden and support businesses in dealing with rising energy costs, as part of a fiscal and economic strategy aimed at expanding special economic zones, in all areas of the country to give an overall boost to investment and new business start-ups.” said Ronghi, who expressed “appreciation for the work done by FMPI’s leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals in the Lombard territory” and stressed “the strong rooting action that the Federation is carrying out nationally, thanks to the excellent work of President Antonina Terranova, and in all regions.”
FMPI Regional Secretary Antonio Iodice and businesswoman Carla Grassi, whom Ronghi also called to collaborate with the Federation on the national level, among others, attended the initiative.
“We are very pleased with the strong strategic and operational turnaround put in place by FMPI ,” said Iodice, “and we will work with increasing quality and intensity to better represent the thousands of Lombardy businesses that identify with our project and want to be represented by us.”.
“I am honored to be able to contribute to FMPI’s action on the national level as well, ” Grassi stressed, “as I believe that the strong Directorate/territory synergy can lead us to increasingly important results for the benefit of our businesses and for Italy’s economy and labor.
